My consultation charges are £55 for a half-day visit. This is
refundable if a full design or planting plan is commissioned.
Planting plans and garden design
I offer a bespoke service and prices vary according to the commission
The following is a rough guide to my charges.
- Site survey £50 - £150
- Border planting plans (without design) £10 per sq metre
- Design plan and planting plan less than 100 sq metres - £250
- Design plan only 100 - 200 sq metres - £300
- Design and planting plan 100 - 200 sq metres - £425
- Design plan only 200 - 300 sq metres - £350
- Design and planting plan 200 - 300 sq metres - £500
- Design plan only 300 - 450 sq metres - £400
- Design and planting plan 300 - 450 sq metres - £675
- Planting up - £125 per day
Mileage charges will be incurred for visits above a 25-mile radius of Carlisle or Wigton
In Late Winter..
Herbaceous and mixed borders will benefit
from the application
of a soil conditioner
such as manure or garden compost, but if you have to buy a
proprietary soil conditioner ensure it does not contain peat
as this is an
unnecessary use of
this limited resource.
